Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Planner I in Newington, NH to manage master scheduling, inventory planning, and release work orders in alignment with contractual commitments. This exempt role requires 0–3 years in manufacturing supply chain and strong ERP/MRP experience.

You will collaborate across departments, maintain production schedules, and support continuous improvement while adhering to safety and ISO requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; 0–3 years in manufacturing supply chain.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems, especially Oracle.
• Ability to clearly convey ideas verbally and in writing; timely task completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage deadlines based on expectations.
• Ensure MRP signals are accurate and compliant with policies and customer requirements.
• Assist Operations with production hurdles and expedite as needed; maintain balance across teams.
• Navigate reports and basic functions within EBS and provide limited analytics on WIP and inventory.
• Monitor schedule performance, track plans, and perform schedule risk analyses.
• Suggest solutions to reduce costs and improve production processes and quality within contractual parameters.
• Engage in Continuous Improvement projects/tasks.
• Communicate effectively with supervision about problems and corrective actions.
• Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
• Follow Safety and ISO procedures.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
