Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Planner I to manage master scheduling, inventory planning, and release of work orders in coordination with manufacturing. The role supports contractual commitments and deadlines with a 0-3 year background in manufacturing supply chain.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in business or related field and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle ERP. This on-site position offers growth within SIG SAUER's extensive supply chain network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain and understanding of supply chain concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage deadlines based on expectations.
• Ensure MRP signals are accurate and compliant with internal policies and customer requirements.
• Assist Operations with production hurdles and expedite as required.
• Navigate standard reports and basic EBS functions; provide limited analytics on WIP and inventory.
• Monitor schedule performance; track plans and perform schedule risk analyses.
• Recommend solutions to reduce production costs and improve processes and quality.
• Act as escalation point for Production Coordinators.
• Engage in Continuous Improvement projects/tasks.
• Communicate effectively to supervision regarding problems and corrective action.
• Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
• Follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
