Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Planner I in Newington, NH to manage and align all facets of the supply chain, including master scheduling, inventory planning, and releasing work orders.

The role coordinates with Operations to meet contractual commitments and deadlines, working closely with multiple departments to ensure on-time delivery. Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in manufacturing supply chain, a strong grasp of MRP concepts, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems (Oracle).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field with 0–3 years in manufacturing supply chain.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially Oracle, is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Manage deadlines based on expectations.
• Ensure that MRP signals are accurate and compliant with policies and customer requirements.
• Assist Operations with clearing production hurdles and expedite as required.
• Navigate standard reports and basic functions within EBS; provide limited analytics on WIP and inventory.
• Monitor the program schedules; perform schedule risk analyses.
• Recommend viable solutions to reduce production costs and improve processes and quality.
• Engage in Continuous Improvement tasks.
• Communicate effectively with supervision regarding problems and corrective action.
• Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
• Follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
