Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in New Hampshire seeks a Planner I to manage master scheduling, inventory planning, and release of work orders, aligning operations with contractual commitments.

The role requires 0-3 years in manufacturing supply chain, a Bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with MS Office; Oracle ERP experience is preferred. You will collaborate with Operations and other departments to meet deadlines and optimize production flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required, previous experience with ERP systems (especially Oracle) preferred.
• Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form.
• Capable of completing assigned tasks on time.

Responsibilities

• Manage deadlines based on expectations.
• Ensure that MRP signals are accurate and compliant with internal policies and customer requirements.
• Assist Operations with clearing production hurdles and expedite as required.
• Navigate standard reports and basic functions within EBS and provide limited analytics on WIP and inventory.
• Monitor program schedules, track plans, and perform schedule risk analyses.
• Recommend viable solutions to reduce production costs and improve processes and quality.
• Act as escalation point for Production Coordinators.
• Engage in Continuous Improvement projects/tasks.
• Communicate effectively to supervision regarding problems and corrective action.
• Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
