Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in New Hampshire is seeking a Principal Planner to oversee the Supply Chain, master scheduling, inventory planning, and release of work orders with Operations and Manufacturing.

You will align contractual commitments, drive data-driven decisions, and lead improvement initiatives. Qualified candidates have 10+ years in production/manufacturing and supply chain, plus strong Oracle ASCP and MS Office skills, and the ability to train others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field with 10+ years in production/manufacturing and 10+ years in Supply Chain.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS, ASCP, Agile; able to train others on these applications.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication; able to present data professionally.
• Independently operate at a high level and complete tasks timely.

Responsibilities

• Manage deadlines based on expectations.
• Ensure MRP signals are accurate and compliant with internal policies and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain management on Operations and Production issues.
• Monitor parts through manufacturing processes and expedite as required.
• Identify end‑of‑life inventory and manage liability for POs or WOs.
• Pull data from multiple sources and provide analytics and presentations to management.
• Provide analytics training and guidance within the Planning team.
• Act as escalation point for Planning issues impacting Operations and Production.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Support 5S Standards and ISO procedures.

Education
