Supply Chain Planner (Contract)

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Supply Chain Planner to join a high-impact data center optimization team. In this hybrid role based in the Puget Sound area, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of capacity planning activities, aligning customer demands against available data center resources, and identifying the most optimal placement solutions. You will balance tactical day-to-day execution with strategic process improvement initiatives, working cross-functionally with planning, engineering, supply chain, and operations teams. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where your ability to manage stakeholders, drive measurable improvements, and deliver data-driven insights will be critical to team success.

Job Responsibilities

• Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications
• Review production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements and material priorities
• Record production data including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures
• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands
• Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, or other interruptions
• Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments
• Monitor active reservation and demand management activities and coordinate with regional stakeholders and vendors
• Participate in daily operational reviews and analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Track program deliverables, document processes, and drive cross-functional execution to ensure successful completion of capacity initiatives
• Investigate operational issues and lead process improvement efforts with measurable outcomes
• Create and maintain dashboards, operational reports, and data visualizations to support decision-making
• Drive results through influence across multiple teams without direct authority

Requirements

• 3+ years of advanced Excel and data analysis experience including pivot tables, complex formulas, data validation, reporting, and large dataset management
• 3+ years of program or project management experience managing operational processes, tracking deliverables, driving cross-functional execution, and resolving risks and issues
• 2+ years of experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar analytical platforms
• Background in supply chain operations, capacity planning, data center operations, program management, business operations, or a related analytical field preferred
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and process improvement with measurable metrics strongly preferred
• 5-7 years of related experience required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and manage diverse stakeholders effectively
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor, and materials
• Proficiency in accurately documenting and recording customer and client information
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, complex formulas, data validation, and large dataset management
• Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar analytical platforms
• Ability to create dashboards, perform trend analysis, and produce operational reports
• Program and project management skills including tracking deliverables, managing competing priorities, and resolving risks and issues
• Experience with process improvement methodologies and the ability to demonstrate measurable outcomes
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools and operational reporting frameworks
• Basic mentoring skills to provide support and constructive performance feedback

• Duration: 3 months
• Pay Range*: $36.50 - $41.50 per hour
• Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
• Job Status: Non-Exempt
