Aston Carter is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist for an onsite role in Bettendorf, IA. The position is contract to hire and focuses on expediting orders, entry accuracy, and customer support within a small team.

The role requires 1+ year in customer service or supply chain functions, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Excel for logs and reporting. Responsibilities include order entry, RGA management, and coordinating with Accounts Receivable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or supply chain functions.
• Strong customer service skills with clear professional communication.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and timely follow-up.
• High attention to detail in order entry, record keeping, and documentation.
• Basic computer skills including using email and spreadsheets (Excel) for logs and reporting.
• Comfort using telephone for extended periods to support customers and internal teams.
• Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods while performing computer- and phone-based tasks.

Responsibilities

• Expedite customer orders and inquiries quickly and accurately with a customer-focused approach.
• Enter orders from customers and sales representatives with accurate scheduled ship dates.
• Assist customers and sales reps with part numbers and pricing, providing clear information.
• Assign RGA numbers and manage the Excel log for timely returns.
• Prepare work orders from RGA information for repair and restock or return.
• Record credit card orders in Excel and a paper log with accurate records.
• Maintain a Pro Log for truck shipments and email shipment details to the sales rep.
• Set up new customer accounts and maintain accurate company names, addresses, and tax codes.
• Prepare daily order information from shipping to Accounts Receivable for invoicing.
• Handle multiple tasks concurrently with attention to detail and follow-up.
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders via telephone and email.
