Aston Carter seeks a Supply Chain Specialist to oversee inventory, sourcing, and vendor relations from our Boca Raton office. This contract-to-hire role emphasizes accuracy, cost control, and cross‑functional collaboration to optimize purchasing and logistics.

Qualifications

• Excel proficiency for reporting, tracking, and data analysis.
• Procurement and purchasing experience with order placement and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation experience with suppliers for favorable terms.
• Product and freight sourcing supporting operational needs.
• Inventory management across systems and ecommerce platforms.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels and reporting using Excel and internal systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory availability across websites and internal platforms.
• Update product information in inventory and procurement systems for accuracy.
• Source products and freight services to support operations.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors to secure favorable costs.
• Coordinate with fulfillment centers and shipping providers to reduce logistics costs.
• Prepare quotes and pricing estimates to support sales and operations.
• Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors on cross‑functional initiatives.
• Assist with purchasing, logistics, and inventory tasks as required.
