Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring for a Supply Chain Ops Associate in Warren, MI. The role focuses on coordinating shipments, tracking parts, and serving as the primary liaison with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery for GM production lines.

You will monitor inventory, coordinate schedules, and implement containment plans when delays occur, supporting continuous manufacturing operations. A related degree and relevant experience are preferred and compensated accordingly.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year or more administrative experience preferred.
• 1 year or more relevant experience strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Follow up all purchased parts to ensure shipment and on-time delivery for production.
• Serve as main point of contact for all suppliers.
• Advise suppliers on ship schedules and containment plans when delays occur.
• Monitor and adjust inventory levels to avoid production downtime.
• Review and post inventory adjustments after investigations.
