Job summary

HKX, Inc. is seeking a forward‑looking Supply Chain & Operations Manager to lead Purchasing, Planning, Production, Distribution, and Logistics.

You will drive cross‑functional improvements, optimize inventory and supplier relations, and enable scalable operations aligned with growth initiatives. You will supervise teams across multiple disciplines, implement S&OP processes, and deliver performance metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (SCM, Operations, Business Management).
• 8+ years of progressive supply chain and operations leadership across multiple disciplines.
• Proven ability to develop teams and improve organizational performance.
• Experience leading manufacturing/production, supply chain, warehouse and distribution with safety, quality, delivery and cost accountability.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with supply and demand planning, supplier management, logistics and inventory optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operations including Purchasing, Planning, Production, Distribution, and Logistics.
• Direct production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing operations.
• Develop production plans and capacity strategies aligned with demand forecasts and business requirements.
• Manage supplier performance, sourcing, procurement, and strategic supplier relationships.
• Provide leadership to direct reports, foster development, collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
• Collaborate to deploy S&OP processes.
• Integrate demand planning into supply and production planning for on-time delivery and inventory optimization.
• Drive continuous improvement focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and Inventory.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for manufacturing, inventory, fulfillment, and supplier performance.
• Lead supply chain and manufacturing-related business systems initiatives with IT teams.

We are seeking a Supply Chain & Operations Manager to lead Purchasing, Planning, Production, Distribution, and Logistics functions. This role is ideal for an experienced operations leader who can drive continuous improvement across multiple disciplines while ensuring operational excellence, operational scalability, and strong business performance. The position plays a key role in optimizing supply chain execution, manufacturing performance, inventory management, supplier relationships, and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operations including Purchasing, Planning, Production, Distribution, and Logistics.
• Direct production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing operations while meeting quality and delivery objectives.
• Develop production plans and capacity strategies aligned with demand forecasts and business requirements.
• Manage supplier performance, sourcing, procurement, and strategic supplier relationships.
• Provide leadership to direct reports, foster development, collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and deploy Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
• Integrate demand planning into effective supply and production planning that supports on-time delivery, inventory optimization, and working capital objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with emphasis on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and Inventory performance.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for manufacturing, inventory, fulfillment, supplier performance, and overall operational effectiveness.
• Lead supply chain and manufacturing-related business systems initiatives and partner with IT and business systems teams on improvement.
• Prepare and present performance metrics, corrective actions, and continuous improvement plans to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive supply chain and operations management experience across multiple disciplines.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with a proven ability to develop teams and improve organizational performance.
• Experience leading manufacturing/production, supply chain, warehouse, and distribution operations with demonstrated responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with supply and demand planning, supplier management, logistics, and inventory optimization.
• Demonstrated success achieving operational and financial performance objectives.

Preferred

• Automotive, heavy equipment, industrial, or related manufacturing experience.
• Experience supporting OEM, OES, and/or aftermarket business channels.
• APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent).
