Job summary

This role drives operational improvement across the supply chain, strengthens supplier performance, optimizes inventory, and supports cost reduction while partnering with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Sales to resolve issues and improve service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years in supply chain, purchasing, sourcing, materials, or operations within industrial manufacturing.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, inventory planning, and materials management.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily purchasing, sourcing, inventory control, and supplier management activities, developing the team along the way.
• Support sourcing decisions balancing cost, quality, delivery, and continuity; negotiate suppliers and pursue cost savings.
• Qualify and manage suppliers, maintain scorecards, and drive corrective action on performance gaps.
• Optimize inventory levels, forecasting, and replenishment to improve service while managing investment.
• Use ERP/planning systems and KPIs to drive data-informed decisions and process improvement.
• Resolve cross-functional supply constraints affecting production schedules and commitments.

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain oversees day-to-day purchasing, sourcing, supplier performance, inventory, and materials planning to keep material flowing and support customer commitments. This role drives operational improvement across the supply chain function — ensuring material availability, strengthening supplier performance, optimizing inventory, and supporting cost reduction — while partnering with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Sales to resolve issues and improve service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily purchasing, sourcing, inventory control, and supplier management activities, developing the team along the way
• Support sourcing decisions balancing cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity, including supplier negotiations and cost savings efforts
• Qualify and manage suppliers, maintain scorecards, and drive corrective action on performance gaps
• Optimize inventory levels, forecasting, and replenishment to improve service while managing inventory investment
• Use ERP/planning systems and KPIs to drive data-informed decisions and process improvement
• Resolve cross-functional supply constraints affecting production schedules and customer commitments

Qualifications

Preferred

• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
