Carnegie Search seeks a hands-on Supply Chain Manager to lead a growing manufacturing operation in development of transportation, purchasing, warehouse operations, inventory control, production planning and distribution. This high-visibility role shapes strategy, drives operational results, and builds high-performing teams.

You will lead cross-functional supply chain activities, implement Lean, and develop dashboards to measure performance across service, cost, and inventory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • 5+ years of leadership in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing.
  • Experience managing purchasing, inventory, transportation, and materials planning.
  • Strong ERP and Warehouse Management System experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and improving operational performance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead purchasing, transportation, warehouse operations, inventory management, materials planning, and distribution.
  • Drive service, cost, inventory, and operational performance improvements.
  • Partner with plant leadership to ensure materials and resources meet production demands.

Lead the Supply Chain Function for a Growing Manufacturing Operation

We're seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Manager to lead transportation, purchasing, warehouse operations, inventory control, production planning, and distribution for a manufacturing facility.

This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, improve operations, develop teams, and drive measurable business results.

What You'll Be Responsible For
  • Leading all supply chain activities including purchasing, transportation, warehouse operations, inventory management, materials planning, and distribution
  • Driving service, cost, inventory, and operational performance improvements
  • Partnering with plant leadership to ensure materials and resources are available to support production demands
  • Developing KPI dashboards and driving accountability to performance metrics
  • Implementing Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Managing carrier relationships, inventory strategies, and transportation operations
  • Coaching and developing supply chain, logistics, and warehouse personnel
  • Helping develop both short-term operating plans and long-term business strategies
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or related field
  • 5+ years of supply chain, logistics, warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing leadership experience
  • Experience managing purchasing, inventory, transportation, and materials planning
  • Strong ERP and Warehouse Management System experience
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and improving operational performance
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
