is seeking a Manager Trainee in the Supply Chain department to learn the management of a small driver count and non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends, ensuring safe and timely movement of freight and providing best-in-class customer service. Under supervision, you will gain training on DOT compliance, driver performance, routing, planning, payroll, and reporting, while interfacing with internal and external contacts to ensure efficient freight delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent military experience.
• Willingness to travel to account, customer, and company event locations.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends.
• Willingness to relocate regionally depending on account assignment.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and safe external carriers.
• Fill in for absent personnel and work on special projects to optimize fleet operations.
• Learn to train and orient drivers and other employees in internal and customer systems.
• Develop reporting and financial analysis for customer-specific needs and KPI measurements.
• Assist with managing inventory, assets, and driver assignments to balance equipment in markets.
• Learn payroll, budget management, driver counseling, and invoicing tasks.
• Coordinate with maintenance for scheduled preventive services and safety repairs.
• Work with drivers, customers, and colleagues to resolve service issues and route planning.
• Support DOT compliance and company safety programs in daily operations.
• Plan loads, monitor freight movement, and adjust ETAs based on schedules and conditions.
