J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Manager Trainee to learn how to manage a small group of drivers, including nights and weekends, while ensuring safe, timely freight movement and best-in-class customer service.

Training will cover DOT compliance and driver regulations. The role emphasizes building strong relationships with drivers and carriers, carrier setup, load planning, routing, and performance reporting, with exposure to payroll, budgeting, safety programs, and fleet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR HS diploma with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel to various locations and events.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights/weekends.
• Willingness to relocate regionally based on assignment.

Responsabilités

• Learn to build and maintain relationships with drivers and outside carriers.
• Fill in for absent personnel and support fleet optimization projects.
• Assist with driver training, orientation, and system support.
• Assist with routing, load planning, and customer reporting.
• Support payroll, budgets, safety programs, and performance analyses.
• Assist with yard management, maintenance coordination, and issue resolution.
• Contribute to DOT compliance and company safety requirements.
