J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking a Manager Trainee in Supply Chain to learn management of a small driver count and non-traditional shifts, ensuring safe and timely freight movement and best-in-class customer service. Training includes DOT compliance and driver safety culture.

Responsibilities cover relationship-building with drivers and carriers, fleet optimization, and coordinating payroll, budgeting, and reporting while supporting operations across shifts and locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, or related field.
• High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of experience in management, transportation/logistics, or related field.
• Willing to travel to account and company locations when applicable.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build and maintain relationships with drivers and safe outside carriers.
• Assist with fleet optimization and profitability projects.
• Assist with payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Plan and monitor freight movements to ensure on-time service.
• Maintain safety culture and DOT compliance.
