Job summary

ASML Wilton, CT is seeking a Manager to lead the Supplier Quality Engineering team within the Industrialization Group. You will coordinate with design, program teams and key suppliers to deliver industrialized, cost-effective solutions for new products across optical, electronic, and mechanical systems.

The role requires 8+ years in high-tech manufacturing with 5+ years of direct leadership, Lean Six Sigma expertise, and strong English communication. On-site with travel. Competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Masters preferred) in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Eng Physics, etc.), or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with 5 years work experience managing direct reports.
• Leads teams in high-tech development and manufacturing environments.
• Lean Six Sigma experience including tooling (e.g. SPC, FMEA, 8D).
• Experience in project management in complex high-tech low-volume industry.
• Supplier management and cost management experience.
• Quality improvement & operational excellence in manufacturing.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers on technical/manufacturing process development.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of 15-20 engineers (supplier quality & cost engineers).
• Develop and sustain project results: on-time delivery, quality, reliability, move-rate, and cost.
• Secure the quality of deliverables and materials from suppliers across the n-tier chain.
• Own and maintain working-competence activities including training and process maturity.
• Build supplier quality competences and technology roadmaps.
• Organize and drive training for your group; manage budgets and performance.
• Lead recruiting and build a capable team; oversee tech development with PMs.
• Travel up to 20% (US mainly, with travel to Europe/Asia as needed).
