Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years surveillance experience in gaming environment.
• Minimum 1 year as Lead Surveillance Operator (preferred).
• Able to pass background check and obtain Missouri Gaming Commission license.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed.
• Must speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and coach Surveillance team; monitor facility via cameras and log activity.
• Record and report questionable activity for review.
• Observe gaming areas and detect cheating, theft, or illegal activity.
• Prepare daily activity logs and store video clips in system repositories.
• Coordinate responses to hold-up alarms and communicate with management.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision, training, coaching to the Surveillance team, Observes the facility through the pan, zoom, and tilt cameras and records all pertinent activity on the Surveillance system.
• Records and reports questionable activity for review.
• Conducts observations of the gaming areas, as directed.
• Responsible for the detection of cheating, theft, and other illegal activities.
• Prepares daily logs of all pertinent activity.
• Logs and marks video clips and stores them in one of several repositories on the Surveillance system.
• Observes the facility entrances, the cashiers' cage, vaults, and count rooms.
• Observes and verifies chip fills and kiosk cassette fills.
• Makes timely notification to appropriate management, supervisors, and the Division of Gaming Enforcement.
• Monitors Security radio transmissions.
• Monitors Slots Management.
• Coordinates response to hold-up alarms.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
• Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
• Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and guests.
• Follows all relevant policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Competencies

• Must possess computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Must be able to transfer video clips to CD's or hard drives.
• Must be able to operate digital systems.
• Must possess good analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check and receive a license from the Missouri Gaming Commission

• Must be able to learn specific job duties and complete detailed work assignments and maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 3 years surveillance experience in a gaming environment (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year in a Lead Surveillance Operator position (preferred)
