Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Evansville, IN is seeking a Surveillance professional to monitor casino operations and protect guests, employees, and assets using CCTV and related systems. You will observe and document daily activity, report suspicious behavior, and coordinate with Security to ensure compliance with Indiana Gaming regulations.

The role requires a High School diploma and preferred experience or licenses in gaming, security or surveillance, plus the ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform surveillance to protect operations and assets.

  • Operate surveillance equipment and document daily activity.
  • Collaborate with Security to safeguard customers and staff.
  • Prepare incident and activity reports daily.
  • Follow Surveillance Management instructions.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Work varied hours, holidays and weekends.
  • Supervise surveillance operations as needed.
  • Oversee shift reports for the Director of Surveillance.
  • Understand Indiana Gaming regulations and internal controls.

Responsibilities
  • Perform specific surveillance duties in accordance with established procedures, to protect the integrity of the company's operations, as well as the security and well‑being of customers, employees, and company assets
  • Report all illegal and/or unusual activities to the Supervisor
  • Operate all surveillance equipment, including, but not limited to, the network system, monitors, computers, and cameras as assigned. Use of spreadsheets, databases, word processing programs requiredObserve report and record all daily casino and land‑based activity using closed circuit television monitors to identify illegal or unusual activities occurring on property
  • Work in partnership with the Security Department to ensure protection of customers, employees and company funds and assets
  • Prepare and complete all daily activity reports and incident reports as required and directed by Surveillance Management
  • Perform all duties and follow all instructions assigned by Surveillance Management
  • Safeguard all confidential information and maintain department confidentiality
  • Must be able to sit in a quiet environment for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to visualize distance, color, depth perception and adjust focus
  • Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as the company's internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs; and be able to push, pull, grasp, reach, stoop, bend, twist and climb up and down stairs
  • Must be able to work in an environment with secondhand smoke and loud noises
  • Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
  • Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.
  • Implements all approved procedures
  • Surveillance Lead Capacity
  • Will provide guidance and procedural training to operators when required
  • May periodically fill the role of a Lead when required
  • Will supervise activities related to surveillance of all gaming operations
  • Reviews and supervises daily activities, reports and all related reports and prepares shift reports for the Director of Surveillance
  • Will provide supervision for designated shift
  • Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as the company's internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Must be able to work a variety of hours, holidays and weekends Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Other duties may be assigned at any time.
Work Environment

The Casino industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation. This position will primarily be indoors under controlled temperatures. Occasional exposure to outdoor climates.

Target Salary Range

Hourly $16.00 - $18.00
