Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a registration supervisor to direct operations for multiple patient types and shifts within the Patient Access department. You will assist the Manager in directing registration functions, ensuring high quality and productivity, and coordinating with the Business Office on verification, pre-certification, pre-registration, and billing inquiries.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, experience in billing and collections, and proficiency with computer systems.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: B.S./B.A./Associate in Business plus two years registration or equivalent receivables/management experience, OR HS diploma plus five years registration or two years supervisory experience.
• Ability to train and direct employees.
• Ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated knowledge of billing, insurance verification, and collection procedures, and general knowledge of computers and computer systems.

Works closely with the Business Office to coordinate activities such as insurance verification and pre-certification of admissions, pre-registration, collections at or before admission, and patient billing inquiries.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:1. a. B.S., B.A., or Associate's degree in Business, plus two (2) years registration experience or equivalent receivables/management experience, OR; b. High school diploma or equivalent, plus five (5) years registration experience or two (2) years supervisory experience. 2. Ability to train and direct employees. 3. Ability to work independently. 4. Demonstrated knowledge of billing, insurance verification, and collection procedures, and a general knowledge of computers and computer systems. PREFERRED:1. Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field. 2. Prior supervisory experience.

Work Hours:

6:00PM-2:30AM
