Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, or related environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Prior MHE certification or knowledge of basic MHE operation (preferred).
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Experience with RF scanners.
• Knowledge of WMS functions.
• English (reading, writing, verbal).

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound, outbound, slotting, and client communication daily.
• Schedule labor, space, equipment, and manpower.
• Hire, train, and assign daily work.
• Conduct performance appraisals and address issues.
• Oversee the receiving, warehousing and shipping of products.
• Develop systems and procedures for operations.
• Ensure compliance with terms outlined in the site’s operating agreement with the client.
• Manage operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals.
• Implement cost-saving measures and report results.
• Hold regular staff meetings to assess group’s overall status.

• Labor scheduling, space utilization, equipment and manpower management
• Hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work
• Conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues and resolving problems
• Supervising the receiving, warehousing and shipping of products
• Ensuring the development of systems and procedures for managing operations
• Compliance with terms outlined in the site’s operating agreement with the client
• Managing operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals
• Implementing and reporting on‑going cost savings measures
• Conducting regular meetings with staff to assess group’s overall status
