Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee inbound/outbound logistics, product slotting, and customer communications. You will lead daily work, conduct staff meetings, and drive continuous improvement across operations to meet productivity goals.

The role requires 3+ years in logistics with a supervisory background, MHE knowledge or forklift certification, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and RF scanning systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in logistics/distribution.
• 1 year in a supervisory role.
• MHE certification or knowledge of basic MHE operation preferred.
• Forklift training certification required.

• Hold regular meetings with warehouse staff to assess overall status.

Job description

• Conducts staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities, plan and assure continuous improvement.
• Manages operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals
• Implements and reports on-going cost savings measures.
• Provides direction and support to Human Resources, assists in creating programs for hiring, training, and professional development
• Holds regular meetings with warehouse staff to assess the group’s overall status.

Requirements

• Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role
• Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation preferred
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• RF Scanners WMS functions
• English (reading, writing, verbal) language skills required.
