Job summary

Qualifications

• Forklift training completed; MHE knowledge preferred.

• RF scanners experience; knowledge of WMS functions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and personnel skills.
• Strong written and oral communication; leadership ability.
• Able to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervising, labor management, and planning of inbound, outbound, product slotting and customer communication activities.
• Conducts staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities and assure continuous improvement.
• Keeps senior management and clients informed of critical issues affecting operations.
• Ensures development of systems and procedures for managing operations in accordance with policies.
• Manages operations to meet productivity and service goals, complying with terms of the operating agreement with clients.
• Implements cost savings measures and provides ideas for efficient operations.
• Meets client specified KPIs and complies with quality system requirements.
• Provides direction and support to Human Resources. Assists in hiring, training, and professional development programs.
• Plans daily work schedule and assigns duties to warehouse staff.

Requirements

• Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role
• Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation preferred
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point)
