Job summary

Nacho Daddy in Henderson, NV is seeking a Front of House Supervisor to act as MOD in lieu of a salary manager, overseeing guest services and daily restaurant operations.

You will train staff, control FOH labor, handle refunds, assist with opening procedures, ensure sanitation and guest satisfaction across the dining room and bar.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Food Handlers Safety Card or equivalent depending on region.
• Ability to perform quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
• Compliance to any reasonable request by management

Responsibilities

• Must not accept tips while clocked in as a Supervisor.
• Ability to open restaurants.
• Controlling FOH labor by cutting employees at appropriate times.
• Ability to give refunds.
• Ability to properly use all discount buttons.
• Balancing banks and cash out reports.
• Ability to train tribe members on policy on all company-wide policies.
• Understanding Nevada time regulations to avoid overtime and manage labor budgets.
• Must be trained in all FOH positions.
• Communicating and reporting guest feedback and providing direction to continuously improve guest experience including table touching.
• Coaching service staff to respond to guests’ needs and anticipate unstated needs.
• Listening to and resolve guests’ complaints.
• Coordinating and coaching communication between guests and staff.
• Coaching and managing service team to ensure all service standards are met, including Pow Wow meetings twice a day.
• Responding to compliments and complaints.
• Full knowledge of Opening procedures.
• Ability to conduct an opening safety and sanitation walkthrough.
• Serve Safe Certified.
• Completing daily sanitation logs.
• Ability to efficiently expedite kitchen orders
• Ability to reset all computers and systems in case of system failure.
• Ability to update digital and paper task lists.
• Completing daily checks to ensure all city codes are met.
• Ensuring cleanliness of restaurant, bar, restrooms, side stations, and kitchen.
• Communication of any sanitation or service fallbacks.
• Maintaining FOH cleaning and side work.
• Ability to fully manage control play, T.V., and video system.
• Maintaining and responding to e-mail.
