Role Description

The Supervising Program Technician II is a full-time, on-site role based in Sacramento, CA. This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of Program Technicians, including assigning workloads, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. The role oversees day-to-day program operations, reviews and processes complex cases or transactions, and supports program development and implementation to improve efficiency and service quality. The Supervising Program Technician II collaborates with management and other divisions, prepares reports, maintains accurate records, and provides guidance and training to staff. The role also involves frequent communication with internal stakeholders and the public to resolve issues, clarify requirements, and support the mission of the Secretary of State’s Office.
