Job summary

State of California's Criminal Record Update Program seeks a Supervising Program Technician III to lead the CRUP section. This role analyzes workload, distributes tasks, monitors performance, and prioritizes work while advising on complex cases.

The position requires strong leadership and organizational skills within a public-sector environment. The SPT III also trains personnel, assists data updates on the ACHS via JADE, reviews attendance, and develops memorandums and documents.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in production-focused environments.
• Ability to coach, mentor, evaluate, and develop personnel.
• Strong knowledge of policies, confidentiality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workload, distribute, monitor, and prioritize tasks.
• Identify, resolve, and advise on the most complex work.
• Train and assist staff updating data in systems.
• Monitor attendance and performance, applying corrective action.
• Develop memorandums and personnel documents as needed.
• Maintain working knowledge of CRUS functions and bureau operations.
