Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Telecommunications Construction Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple states. You will manage schedules, safety programs, and quality standards while mentoring field staff and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.

The role requires 1–3 years of superintendent experience, knowledge of aerial/underground fiber installation (HDD a plus), and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

Requirements

One to three years of experience as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent
Experience in aerial and underground fiber installation methods is a plus, including plowing and Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset
Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices
Effective communication and leadership skills
Ability to directly supervise craft employees and subcontractors
Problem-solving abilities and capacity to anticipate and address issues
Strong organizational and planning skills
Ability to travel throughout multiple states
Able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States
