- Ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes
- Lead development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs
- Oversee incident investigations
- Review and update construction schedules and address delays
- Contribute to project schedules
- Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects
- Report and track financial aspects of projects
- Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations
- Set priorities and allocate resources for the entire field team
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff and Superintendents

Requirements
- One to three years of experience as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent
- Experience in aerial and underground fiber installation methods is a plus, including plowing and Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
- Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to directly supervise craft employees and subcontractors
- Problem-solving abilities and capacity to anticipate and address issues
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to travel throughout multiple states
- Able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States
