Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Superintendent in Fort Worth, TX to lead all onsite construction activities for commercial projects from startup through final completion. You will develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and conduct daily site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with contract documents.

Job Details
Responsibilities
  • Lead all onsite construction activities from project startup through final completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and field personnel
  • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications
  • Enforce company safety policies and maintain OSHA compliance on all projects
  • Facilitate weekly subcontractor and project coordination meetings
  • Identify and proactively resolve project challenges, schedule conflicts, and field issues
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and constructability
  • Monitor labor productivity, material deliveries, and equipment utilization
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to manage budgets, schedules, change orders, and project updates
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including daily reports, safety logs, inspections, and progress updates
  • Ensure projects are delivered according to client expectations and company standards
  • Conduct punch list activities and coordinate final project closeout
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience on commercial construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, and field operations
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and project stakeholders
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with construction management software and project reporting tools
  • Valid driver's license with ability to travel to project sites
