Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Fort Worth, TX to lead multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, and teams, while building strong owner, architect, and subcontractor relationships.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction.
  • Experience managing projects valued at $10M+ from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, cost control, contract administration, and risk management.
  • Experience leading project teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously through all construction phases.
  • Manage project budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules with Superintendents and teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts, change orders, and project agreements.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and Project Engineers.
  • Drive project planning, risk management, procurement, and execution strategies.
  • Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve cost, schedule, and quality outcomes.
  • Lead owner meetings, subcontractor meetings, and executive-level reviews.
  • Review and approve project estimates, buyout strategies, subcontract agreements, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Partner with field leadership to support safe and efficient execution.
  • Oversee closeout activities, including punch lists and warranties.
  • Participate in business development and client relationship management when appropriate.

Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously throughout all phases of construction
  • Manage project budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with Superintendents and project teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders

  • Drive project planning, risk management, procurement, and execution strategies
  • Monitor project performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve cost, schedule, and quality outcomes
  • Lead owner meetings, subcontractor meetings, and executive-level project reviews
  • Review and approve project estimates, buyout strategies, subcontract agreements, and project forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company standards, and regulatory guidelines
  • Partner with field leadership to support safe and efficient project execution
  • Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists, final documentation, warranties, and owner turnover
