Job summary

The Resort at Longboat Key Club in Florida is seeking a dedicated Line Cook (A.M.) to join our culinary team, preparing breakfast and brunch dishes with consistency and flair. You will work in a fast-paced environment and coordinate with kitchen staff to deliver timely service.

Ideal candidates have line cook experience, knowledge of cooking techniques and equipment, and strong teamwork. A Food Handler’s Certification is preferred; ability to wake early and stand for long shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work early morning shifts in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Food Handler’s Certification or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast and brunch menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient food service.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management and proper storage of ingredients.
• Support the kitchen team with other tasks as needed during shifts.
