Job summary

The Resort at Longboat Key Club is seeking a Line Cook (PM) to prepare and cook menu items to our standards, delivering consistent flavor and presentation during the evening service. You will work closely with the kitchen team to maintain high quality and guest satisfaction in a dynamic resort setting.

You will collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure food safety, cleanliness, and timely service while thriving in a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook or similar kitchen role preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Food Handler’s certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to meet guest satisfaction and maintain efficient kitchen operations.
• Ensure food quality, portion control, and timely delivery of dishes.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations and practices.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Adapt and respond quickly to any special dietary needs or requests.
