Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County seeks an Athletic Staff to support pre-designed youth programs and motivate youth in a positive way. You will primarily work directly with youth, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development through interactive activities and supervised play.

The role requires a High School diploma or active enrollment, 1 year of youth-facing experience preferred, and a commitment to confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in high school.
• Youth development experience preferred.
• Knowledge and/or experience working with a non-profit youth development agency or Boys & Girls Club experience preferred.
• Good organization and attention to detail, professional presence, strong customer relations skills and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Understanding of youth development principles and ability to motivate youth positively.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement weekly program calendars for summer.
• Contribute to planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programs, services and activities.
• Ensure safe environment; maintain facilities, equipment and supplies.
• Develop positive interactions with children and families; meet regularly with staff and director for smooth operations.
• Transport small groups on field trips using a Club van, walking, or public transit.
• Work assigned shift with flexibility and perform other duties as assigned.
