Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers and customers, gain insight into the design, application and sale of HVAC systems, and participate in meetings to develop essential skills.

The program provides exposure to the world’s leading HVAC equipment and building management solutions, with a potential transition into our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering throughout the entire duration of the summer internship.
• Eligible candidates must have completed at least their sophomore year before the start of the internship.
• U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization for the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Some positions may be remote while others may be hybrid or onsite at facilities across North America.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with at least 12 months of driving history and no major violations in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems and building controls.
• Attend sales meetings and customer visits with experienced account managers and mentors.
• Learn the steps sales engineers take from start to finish and be hands-on in those steps during the internship.
• Build relationships with customers and act as a daily point-of-contact in solution development.
