Job summary

Cencora is offering a 10-week Operations Intern program at the Brooks, KY Distribution Center. You will gain real-world experience across supply chain functions with a mentor, preparing future leaders for rapid development within our distribution network.

During the internship, you will participate in training, interact with senior leaders, and rotate through departments to build business acumen and teamwork skills in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations/Logistics, SCM, Leadership & Supervision, or Business Management.
• Graduate with bachelor’s degree within one year of internship completion.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Understand various supply chain functions and disciplines.
• Affiliates with hourly team members and interacts with senior leadership.
• Assist in analysis and development of supply chain metrics and processes.
• Report findings to team members and management as required.
• Plan daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and lead a team to meet goals.
• Work on projects with minimal supervision.
• Organize and facilitate team meetings (pre-shift, roundtables).
• Be flexible to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Develop interpersonal and communication skills to lead a frontline workgroup.
