Job summary

Cencora is offering a 10-week Operations Intern program at the Denver, CO distribution center. You will work under a mentor, rotate through business areas, and gain hands-on leadership experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Participants will develop skills in analytics, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, with opportunities to present learnings to leadership at program end.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations/Logistics, Organizational Leadership & Supervision, or Business Management.
• Bachelor's degree must be completed within 1 year of internship.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of various supply chain functions.
• Build affiliation with hourly team members and interact with senior leadership.
• Assist in analysis and development of supply chain metrics and processes.
• Report findings to team members and management as required.
• Plan daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and lead a team to goals.
• Work on projects with minimal supervision.
• Organize and facilitate team meetings (pre-shift, roundtables).
• Be flexible with shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends.
• Participate in internship program training and development activities.
• Develop interpersonal and communication skills to lead a frontline workgroup.
