Job summary

Cencora is seeking a motivated Operations Intern for a 10-week summer program at our Lockbourne, OH National Distribution Center. You will work under a mentor, gain exposure to multiple supply chain functions, and participate in internship training activities.

You will develop leadership, analytical, and communication skills while supporting daily workloads, metrics, and business processes across departments. This on-site internship emphasizes collaboration and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in engineering, operations/logistics, organizational leadership & supervision, or business management.
• Graduate with bachelor's degree within one year of internship completion.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of various supply chain functions and disciplines.
• Build affiliation with hourly team members and interact with senior leadership.
• Assist in analysis and development of supply chain metrics and business processes.
• Report findings to team members and management as required.
• Plan daily/weekly workload to support priorities and manage a team to deliver goals.
• Work on projects and manage time without constant supervision.
• Organize and facilitate work team meetings (pre-shift, roundtables, etc.).
• Be flexible with schedules including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Participate in internship training activities and events.
• Develop interpersonal and communication skills to lead a frontline workgroup.
• Be willing to learn, take risks, and take on new assignments.
