Job summary

Cencora is offering a 10-week Operations Intern program at the Brooks, KY distribution center. Interns gain hands-on exposure to supply chain functions, work with mentors, and rotate through departments to build business acumen and leadership skills.

Participants will experience real-world projects, teamwork, and opportunities to present insights to leadership while supporting 24/7 operations. Onsite work across shifts is required, with emphasis on growth and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations/Logistics, Organizational Leadership & Supervision, or Business Management.
• Graduation expected within one year of internship completion.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of various supply chain functions and disciplines.
• Build affiliation with hourly team members and interact with senior leadership.
• Assist in the analysis and development of supply chain metrics and processes.
• Report findings to team members and management as required.
• Plan daily/weekly workloads to support priorities and lead a frontline team.
• Work on projects with minimal supervision.
• Organize and facilitate team meetings (pre-shift, roundtables).
• Be flexible to work across all shifts, including mornings/evenings/weekends.
• Participate in internship training and developmental activities.
• Develop interpersonal and communication skills to lead a frontline team.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn, take risks, and take on new assignments.
• Gain understanding of all business areas to develop business acumen.
• Foster an inclusive, diverse, safe culture.
