Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is offering a paid 10-12 week Management & Sales Internship in Houston. Interns gain hands-on experience in retail stores, management, sales, and store operations while traveling with a Sales Representative and completing a real team project with leadership support.

The program covers customer experience, product knowledge, merchandising, and business management, with opportunities to apply to the Management & Sales Training Program after completion.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship or co-op program.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old and legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion; willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service in-store and over the phone.
• Maintain product displays and assist customers with recommendations.
• Develop store merchandising and inventory knowledge for accurate stock.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and store operations.
• Support logistics, loading deliveries, and organizing stockrooms.
• Participate in training sessions and comply with store policies and loss prevention.
• Collaborate with interns on team projects addressing real business challenges.
