Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, a Kubota Company, is offering a 2027 Summer Internship in Quality Engineering in the Salina, KS area. Interns work on-site full-time May through August, with a 4-day work week, earning $20 per hour and housing provided for those outside Salina.

Interns complete a project under a mentor in Quality Engineering related to agricultural or construction equipment manufacturing. Applicants must be enrolled in a relevant engineering program and able to travel.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a relevant engineering bachelor’s degree program.
• Willingness to live within commuting distance of Salina, KS or Abilene, KS for the summer.
• Ability to work full-time on-site during the internship.
• Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening; show I-9 eligibility on first day.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation for Summer travel and activities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a quality engineering project at a Great Plains facility.
• Work with a mentor and peers to apply college knowledge to manufacturing.
• Participate in summer activities and early project handoffs.
