Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, a Kubota Company, invites applications for the 2027 Summer Internship in Salina, KS. The Electrical Engineer Intern will contribute to the design process of agricultural equipment and complete a project with a mentor.

Interns work full-time May through August with a 4-day work week from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Housing is provided for interns from outside the area. Applicants must be enrolled in a relevant engineering bachelor’s program and be able to commute to Salina.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
• Willingness to live within commuting distance of Salina, KS area for the Summer.
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week) during the Summer.

Responsibilities

• Work on an Electrical Engineering project related to agricultural equipment design.
• Complete a project under a mentor and with peers during the internship.
