Job summary

Cencora is offering a 10-week Operations Intern program at our Whitestown, IN Distribution Center. The internship runs from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027 and requires on-site attendance. Interns will rotate through supply chain functions, gain hands-on experience, and report to a mentor.

Interns will work across shifts as needed and have opportunities to interact with senior leadership while developing core skills in leadership, teamwork, and business analysis.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations/Logistics or related fields
• Graduate with bachelor’s degree within one year of internship completion
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of various supply chain functions and disciplines
• Build affiliation with hourly team members and interact with senior leadership
• Assist in analysis and development of supply chain metrics and business processes
• Report findings to team members and management
• Plan department workloads to support business priorities and manage a team to deliver goals
• Organize and facilitate work team meetings
• Be flexible with schedules including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Participate in internship program training and mentorship activities
• Develop interpersonal and communication skills to lead a frontline workgroup
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and take on new assignments
• Gain understanding of all business areas to develop business acumen
