Job summary

Cencora is seeking an Operations Intern for a 10-week summer program at our Romeoville, IL Distribution Center. You will rotate through departments, gain exposure to supply chain metrics, and report findings to leadership under a mentor.

Start date is June 7, 2027 and end date August 13, 2027. Interns must be onsite and available for varied shifts; no sponsorship required. The program develops future supply chain leaders through hands-on projects and leadership exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations/Logistics, Organizational Leadership & Supervision, or Business Management.
• Graduate with bachelor's degree within one year of internship completion.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of various supply chain functions and disciplines.
• Assist in analysis and development of supply chain metrics and business processes.
• Report findings to team members and management as required.
• Plan daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and lead a frontline workgroup where needed.
• Organize and participate in internship program trainings and rotational assignments.
• Be flexible with schedules including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
