Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Co-Op to assist with day-to-day technology operations and help improve user productivity across the organization during the Summer 2027 term (May through early August), full-time.

The role provides daily IT support for Microsoft 365, helps install and troubleshoot laptops and workstations, maintains data integrity and security, and supports IT projects and user training as needed.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• General understanding of Windows-based systems and basic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VPN).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and follow-up.
• Preferred: exposure to Active Directory concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support for workplace information and communications systems (Microsoft 365).
• Assist with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting laptops, desktops, and workstations.
• Help maintain data integrity and file system security, including permissions and access in Microsoft 365.
• Communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical users.
• Support IT infrastructure projects and vendor/employee requests as assigned.
• Assist with delivering basic training and guidance to users on common applications and tools.
