Job summary

Saab, Inc. seeks an IT Support Co-Op for hands-on experience in day-to-day technology operations and enterprise IT initiatives. The role targets students pursuing IT/CS degrees, with a focus on improving user productivity across the organization.

The Summer 2027 term is full-time (May through early August). The candidate will support local operations and participate in IT projects, with a competitive hourly rate and housing sign-on bonus for eligible Co-Op students.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor's IT/CS degree.
• Familiarity with Windows and basic troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPN).
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support for workplace IT systems including Microsoft 365 apps.
• Assist with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting laptops, desktops, and workstations.
• Help maintain data integrity and file security, including permissions in Microsoft 365.
• Communicate technical information clearly to users with various levels of expertise.
• Support research and recommendations for hardware/software solutions.
• Assist with IT infrastructure and project work as assigned.
• Deliver basic training and guidance to users on common apps and tools.
