Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is offering a 2027 Summer Internship in Human Resources across site locations in Arizona and other North American sites. These are temporary full-time paid positions that typically run May through August for students enrolled at a four-year university or recent graduates.

Under supervision, you will assist with HR projects, investigations and counseling, and support preparations for problem solving and arbitration.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at an accredited four-year university pursuing a degree in HR or Business.
• Recent graduate within 12 months with a degree in HR, Business or related field.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various HR projects.
• Assist with the investigation and counseling process.
• Assist in the preparation for problem solving and arbitration proceedings.
• Work with the HR administration team on various projects.
• Perform other duties as required.
