Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. is offering a 2027 Summer Internship in Global Supply Chain at various site locations in the United States.

It’s a full-time, paid internship designed for current four-year university students or recent graduates in North America, typically May through August. Interns will gain hands-on experience, work on inventory and purchasing processes, and support diverse supply chain activities while collaborating with teams across sites in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time at a four-year university pursuing a degree in Supply Chain or related fields.
• Recent graduate (within 12 months) with a degree in Supply Chain or related fields.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of purchasing rules, inventory control systems and accounts payable processes.
• Ability to research and gather information related to vendors, contracts, equipment and supplies.
• Ability to use computer databases to research, maintain and update records and files.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload goods and place into inventory.
• Review requisitions and place orders for goods and materials.
• Review inventory records to determine availability.
• Assist on special projects to support goods and services management.
• Maintain records of delivered items and remaining inventory.
• Update manual or automated inventory listings.
• Perform other duties as required.
