Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan invites students to join the 2027 Summer Internship in Human Resources across site locations in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Iowa. These are temporary, full‑time paid positions typically running May through August for interns currently enrolled in a four-year university or recent graduates.

You will assist with HR projects, counseling processes, and prepare for problem solving and arbitration while collaborating with the HR administration team.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a four-year university or recent graduate in HR/Business.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented with collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various HR projects.
• Assist with investigation and counseling processes.
• Assist in preparation for problem solving and arbitration proceedings.
