Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. invites motivated students to join its 2027 Summer MIS Internship, with assignments at various site operations in Arizona and other North American locations.

You'll perform MIS duties under supervision, gain hands-on experience with data systems, reporting, and process improvement, and be paid for a temporary full-time role May–August.

The program emphasizes safety, collaboration, and real-world projects across site operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time at a four-year university pursuing MIS or related field.
• Recent graduate within 12 months with MIS or Computer Technology degree or closely related field.
• Proficient in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Supports MIS-related duties per department; overtime may be required.
• Assists with data-driven process improvement projects.
• Monitors system health of supported applications.
• Creates reports using advanced querying and reporting tools.
