Dow Jones invites applications for a Summer 2027 People Team Intern in New York City. This 10-week program offers hands-on experience across Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Compensation, Organizational Development, and People Operations.

The role is hybrid with in-office days in NYC and mentorship from senior HR leaders. You will rotate through projects, contribute to employee experience initiatives, and gain exposure to Workday, Google Workspace, and other HR

Qualifications

Pursuing a 4-year bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
Strong curiosity and motivation to learn about people-focused work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; familiarity with HR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist Talent Acquisition and early careers initiatives.
Contribute to performance management rollouts and organizational development projects.
Participate in Workday optimization, reporting and analytics.
Support year-end compensation processes and data validation.
Assist in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs; support LMS administration.
Partner with HR leaders to support employee engagement and workforce planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams on key initiatives.
Prepare presentations and documentation to support team effectiveness.
