Job summary

Middlebury College Summer French School in Vermont is seeking temporary instructors of French for the 2019 session on the Middlebury College campus. The program combines immersion with rigorous daily classroom instruction, and we are looking for faculty who can offer engaging French as a Second Language classes at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum.

In addition to the salary, lodging and a meal plan will be provided.

Qualifications

• MA degree or equivalent and substantial experience in teaching French as a Second Language in higher education.
• Experience in Francophone settings and in North America.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Teach French as a Second Language at all undergraduate levels.
• Contribute to a seven-week summer program with immersive classroom instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver engaging courses.
