Job summary

Butterball, LLC invites you to join our Carthage, MO plant as a 10–12 week Poultry Production Intern. You’ll work in daily plant operations, tackle industry challenges, and contribute to process improvements.

You’ll master the basics of food production, collaborate with the team to optimize processes, and develop leadership skills by guiding first‑line employees. This internship offers hands-on experience and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors, Master or PhD in Agri-Business, Animal Science, Food Science, Meat Science, Ag Leadership or related field with an expected graduation date of December 2027 through June 2029.
• Have a valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
• Demonstrated participation in extracurricular activity.
• Demonstrated involvement on campus.
• Previous work experience of any kind preferred.
